Cookbooks

I devour cookbooks.  I read them by the bagful.  My local library has a great selection and I fully utilize the ability to reserve books throughout the library system in New Jersey.  I believe we must first understand and appreciate the cultures and countries and intricacies of foods we put on our tables.

Here’s a list of some of my favorites in rotation:

The New Orleans Kitchen by Justin DeVillier

The Immigrant Kitchen collected and edited by Leyla Moushabeck

The Tucci Table – Stanley Tucci and Felicity Blunt

Bottom of the Pot – Naz Deravian

Between Harlem and Heaven – JJ Johnson and Alexander Smalls

Provence – Caroline Rimbert Craig

Simply French – Patricia Wells

Made In Spain – José Andrés

The Taste of Country Cooking – Edna Lewis

Indian-ish – Priya Krishna
