Method
Salmon Prep
Rinse salmon and pat dry. Cut into filets if needed. Lay in a paper towel lined dish to dry thoroughly
1.25 lb salmon
Season with garlic powder, salt, pepper and spice/herb blend of choice
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp kosher salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 2 tsp spice blend
Let sit on counter for 30 minutes
Air fryer
Set air fryer to bake, 400°
Spray with a small amount of olive oil
2 tsp olive oil
Working in batches, add salmon to air fryer without overlapping
Cook for 10 to 12 minutes,
Glaze
In a small saucepan, add butter and honey/maple mixture
2 tbsp maple syrup, 2 tbsp honey, 2 tbsp salted butter
Add lemon zest and juice
1/4 cup lemon juice, 1 tbsp lemon zest
Add thyme and chili crisp
2 tbsp chili crisp, 1 tbsp dried thyme
Plating
Serve salmon with a drizzle of glaze.
Notes
If you have leftover glaze, try tossing it with some steamed green beans
