Air Fried Salmon with Maple Chili Glaze

This is the perfect mid week dinner.  I paired this with mashed potatoes and a veggie.

Air Fried Salmon with Maple Chili Glaze

Ingredients

  • 1.25 lb salmon
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp spice blend I used Mystic Spice Company Coastal blend
  • 2 tsp olive oil
Glaze
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp chili crisp
  • 1 tbsp dried thyme
  • 2 tbsp salted butter

Salmon Prep
  1. Rinse salmon and pat dry. Cut into filets if needed. Lay in a paper towel lined dish to dry thoroughly
    1.25 lb salmon
  2. Season with garlic powder, salt, pepper and spice/herb blend of choice
    1 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp kosher salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 2 tsp spice blend
  3. Let sit on counter for 30 minutes
Air fryer
  1. Set air fryer to bake, 400°
  2. Spray with a small amount of olive oil
    2 tsp olive oil
  3. Working in batches, add salmon to air fryer without overlapping
  4. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes,
Glaze
  1. In a small saucepan, add butter and honey/maple mixture
    2 tbsp maple syrup, 2 tbsp honey, 2 tbsp salted butter
  2. Add lemon zest and juice
    1/4 cup lemon juice, 1 tbsp lemon zest
  3. Add thyme and chili crisp
    2 tbsp chili crisp, 1 tbsp dried thyme
Plating
  1. Serve salmon with a drizzle of glaze.

Notes
