Air Fried Salmon with Maple Chili Glaze

Ingredients
- 1.25 lb salmon
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp spice blend I used Mystic Spice Company Coastal blend
- 2 tsp olive oil
Glaze
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tbsp chili crisp
- 1 tbsp dried thyme
- 2 tbsp salted butter
Equipment
- 1 Air Fryer
- 1 zester
- 1 small saucepan
Method
Salmon Prep
- Rinse salmon and pat dry. Cut into filets if needed. Lay in a paper towel lined dish to dry thoroughly1.25 lb salmon
- Season with garlic powder, salt, pepper and spice/herb blend of choice1 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp kosher salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 2 tsp spice blend
- Let sit on counter for 30 minutes
Air fryer
- Set air fryer to bake, 400°
- Spray with a small amount of olive oil2 tsp olive oil
- Working in batches, add salmon to air fryer without overlapping
- Cook for 10 to 12 minutes,
Glaze
- In a small saucepan, add butter and honey/maple mixture2 tbsp maple syrup, 2 tbsp honey, 2 tbsp salted butter
- Add lemon zest and juice1/4 cup lemon juice, 1 tbsp lemon zest
- Add thyme and chili crisp2 tbsp chili crisp, 1 tbsp dried thyme
Plating
- Serve salmon with a drizzle of glaze.
