Easy to prepare with ingredients you probably already have. It takes the guess work out of what to prepare as a side.

Ingredients
- 2 sweet potatoes
- 1 tsbp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp onion salt
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°
- Scrub sweet potatoes
- Pierce multiple times, coat in olive oil
- Wrap in foil and place on a baking sheet
- Bake for 1 hour at 425°. Potatoes are ready when squeezed easily (make sure you use an oven mitt)
- Remove baking sheet from the oven and place potatoes on a cutting board
- Unwrap foil, leaving potatoes in the foil. Cut in half and score the potatoes
- Cut butter into small pieces and dot the potatoes with it
- Add maple syrup and sprinkle with smoked paprika, cayenne pepper and onion salt
- Top with brown sugar and bake for another 5-10 minutes
